Green Forks and Milan at the table with the Planet
We are organizing a workshop, with free admission upon reservation, for the creation of home gardens to produce food with low environmental impact and maximum Co2 absorption. We want to encourage urban agriculture that is based on: 1) an app that calculates the footprint on the planet of our food choices to sensitize citizens towards healthy and ethical choices; 2) practicing sustainable food choices by creating city gardens on balconies and terraces; 3) using Wiseair technology for air quality monitoring.
There will be a demonstration of how to create home gardens, the project FORCHETTE VERDI E MILANO A TAVOLA COL PIANETA will be presented, a link will be given to download the GREEN FORKS STAND-APP 4 CLIMATE app for free and an app-eritive will be offered by the organizers sustainable.
According to the IPCC, FAO, the World Bank and other international research institutes, the impact on greenhouse gas emissions by the production, processing, transport and storage of foods considered unsustainable is estimated at between 18% and 51%. Therefore, bringing citizens to feed themselves in a sustainable way, stimulating them to grow their own vegetables, would recreate a natural-emotional bond with their food, differentiating them from the industrialized supply chain we are used to and sensitizing souls to respect for the natural mechanisms on which all living beings depend. .
