The Italian sustainability acknowledgement “Spighe Verdi 2020” to the Calabrian village Sellia
“With my heart still beating fast, I am happy to inform you that Sellia’s candidacy to obtain the flag of the Green Spikes has been a winner!”.
With these words Davide Zicchinella, First Citizen of Sellia, a small Calabrian village announced the achievement of one of the highest awards in the field of sustainability last July.
Claudio Rebusco and Davide Zicchinella, among the first promoters of the recovery of Sellia, will talk about how this small Catanzaro village has managed to redeem itself, leaving behind a past of semi-abandonment until it comes to represent a virtuous reality of Italian rural areas.
The event, that is part of the Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile organized by Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (ASviS) will take place at hug Milano, in Via Giulio and Corrado Venini 83 and will also be broadcast in live streaming.
